Magpupungko Beach, Siargao Island
Magpupungko beach is a natural pool that protects the swimmers from the strong waves.
Siargao island is not only for surfers. Exploring the place could lead you to discovery of some nice beaches that the island only offers. Magpupungko beach is one of them. The beauty of this beach comes out when it's low tide. With only Php. 50.00 entrance fee you can enjoy the place whole day with your family and if you want to have a cottage the cheapest one is php. 100.00.
The name comes from this rock formation. The literal meaning of Magpupungko "bato na nagpungko"
